Since moving to Eastbourne, with a house about 600m from the South Downs, we've really only had a couple of opportunities to do "proper" walks.
Sunday, though, gave us the perfect chance. We attended a family celebration just north of our part of town...so we strolled back.
It started with quite a daunting hill but after that, it was a fantastic walk along the ridge, in golden sunlight. Yep, I could get used to this.
